    Not much happened today  . . .

    car cost me £170 but tht was for new brake pads on all tyres; fan belt tightening, handbrake tightening and the bumper fixing so not bad i suppose!!!!

    Niece was a lil brat today and I'm absolutely knackered. Went to work and found out that they're taking J off me the gits and replacing her with S who is like the most annoying person you can think of times 100! No joke!

    At least i get to stay at BFs! x

    So my new year got off to a rubbishy start . . . .

    Some twat reversed into my car whilst I was working and ruined my bumper . . . .cannot believe it! All I need to be honest!

    Not much to report but mechanic cant get me car in til 2moro! what a frigging joke and BF is off work but I cant get to see him coz neither of us has a car now!

    How cliche it must seem to begin a blog slash diary slash comment box slash whatever this is on the first of January 2008. . . a new year . . . a new beginning. . . those old chestnuts . . . 

    Well, today is a new day, the beginning of a new year and beginning of a new me! Ha! I wish!

    In a break from tradition . . .I shall evaluate myself as i stand now . . . so lets see . . .

    I think thats all I need to comment on. I am now going to make some resolutions.

    1 - Monitor blood sugars at least three times a day. I see some of my clients who are diabetic and haven't looked after themselves and now they're really ill. So one of my resolutions is to take better care of myself in that respect. I want to live long enough to see my grandkids and their kids and see them get married . . .

    2 - Seeing as I am already a member of a gym I am not going to say that but i am going to start going regularly beginning with twice a week and moving on to hopefully three times a week. I hope to drop a few pounds and tone up so ill set my target goal as 10st which is quite realistic.
     
    3 - I'm guna save some money up so that I can do one of three things: move into my own house / apartment, buy a new car, go on holiday. Realistically, I would have to buy a new car before i moved out but who knows what the future will bring. Realistically, if i walk out with £400 a month;

    petrol - 35 x 4 - 140
    food - 15 x 4 - 60
    misc - 20 x4 - 80
    fone - 25

    which leaves me with £95 . .  . roughly £20 a week . . . which i suppose isn't too bad . . .anything extra can also go into the bank! not alot i know but once summer comes ill be earning a full time wage.

    I think three is a nice number to set my goals for .. . we'll review them at a later date.

    Right, now im off to bed for a bit before i go to work! Ciao!
